Between 2023 and 2026, Alejandro Brittes’ international music development project established a significant presence in the U.S. market, with more than 100 performances across the country. Through university and institutional circuits, collaborative concerts, and world music, accordion, and folk festivals, his touring activities reached major venues and cultural institutions throughout the United States.
Concerts, educational panels, lectures, masterclasses, and workshops at internationally recognized universities, including The Catholic University of America, Georgetown University, Stanford University, University of Arizona, and University of Texas, among others, have contributed to this international presence. These activities, combined with performances at renowned festivals such as the San Jose Jazz Festival, ABQ Folk Festival, and Cotati Accordion Festival, as well as collaborations with orchestras and ensembles including the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Ibérica, and Havana String Quartet in performances of his (L)ESTE concert, have established Brittes as one of the leading contemporary ambassadors of Chamamé music.
In the field of cultural diplomacy, notable milestones include an official presentation at the headquarters of the Organization of American States (OAS) and a performance recording preserved in the American Folklife Center archives at the United States Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
