In the field of international relations and cultural exchange policy, the work of Alejandro Brittes and historian and cultural producer Magali de Rossi has established significant milestones in South American cultural diplomacy. Both were directly responsible for initiating, developing, and overseeing the overall coordination of the First Official Cultural Mission of the State of Rio Grande do Sul to the United States, organized to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Jesuit-Guarani Missions.

Within the concert music circuit and international critical discourse, Alejandro Brittes’ artistic approach has frequently been associated with the tradition of major innovators in South American music. Specialized critics and curators from international institutions, including representatives of Stanford Live, have drawn a technical parallel between Brittes’ compositions and the legacy of Argentine tango revolutionary Astor Piazzolla.

Between 2023 and 2026, Alejandro Brittes’ international music development project established a significant presence in the U.S. market, with more than 100 performances across the country. Through university and institutional circuits, collaborative concerts, and world music, accordion, and folk festivals, his touring activities reached major venues and cultural institutions throughout the United States.
